Litspiration Challenge

This is my litsperation challenge. I made a rainbow coming out of an open book out of book covers. I was challenged to do this by Brianna at The Book Nook. I added my own twist to the challenge hope you all like it.

At this zoom it looks more blocky. This is a smaller version which may look more like a rainbow.

Click here to see all the books I used and the link to them.

  1. Paige! LOVE THIS! I would put all of the information about covers, and the links, into a googledoc. Then you would only have to have one link included in the post and more of the focus would be on your AWESOME image!

  2. Hi I Paige, I was scrolling through the blogs and I found this. I love how you did something that was really creative and innovating for your Litspiration challenge. I also think that it's great that you didn't just take a pre-made "book rainbow" from the internet and took the time to do it yourself (judging by the amount of links and different books you have I assume that it took a long time to create the image). Another thing I love is how you put a "zoomed out" and a regular version of your book rainbow to help you see what the image is supposed to be of. I also think that its really awesome how you took your name and incorporated it into your blog name to create a cool noteworthy title! Good Job.

  3. This is a really creative idea Paige! After looking at the zoomed out version I saw the flower design which looks really nice and it fits well with your background. I am just wondering, are there any connections with the book covers you chose to the books you read or the books you want to read or something else? I also really like the title of your blog as well, (Paige's Pages). Keep up the great work!

  4. This is AMAZING Paige! How did you make it? Did you just pick random book covers or have you heard about all of these books before you put them onto your book cover rainbow? Is there any importance to any of the book covers that you chose? I like how you put 2 perspectives of the pictures (normal sized and small). Great job! :) P.S. I like your background.

    1. Hi Ivana, Glad you like it. Unfortunately, I am a slow reader so...no I did not read all the books in this photo. I knew about the books or a friend pointed them out for almost all of them.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog,
      Paige

  5. Rainbow Image:
Paige!! This is actually quite amazing! I like how you incorporated so many books into the image. I just love the idea!! How long did this take you? It looks like it was quite a large project that required a lot of time! I like how you included both the enlarged image and the tiny one to give the viewer a good sense of what it would look like either way. Amazing Job! I love it! I was just wondering, are you planning to read all those books?

    1. Thanks Haniya, It did take me a while because you have to save the image, get the author's name and the Url. Though I don't know exactly how long it took me. However, It was definitely worth it because I am really happy with the final product. :)

Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog,

      Paige

  6. Paige lets just start off by saying I am blown away by your litsperation challenge. You really took it to a new level by creating a rainbow of book covers! That and the fact you blog is so organized and neat, it really just blows me away, so hats off to you. (Yes I did just say that.) But why did you choose the books for it? Were they your favorites, orrrrr something else? Anyways I think that your blog all together is just amazing and I can not wait for my entry's like this. Keep it up! :).

    1. Hi Sam, Thanks. These book covers I knew, were recommended to me or my friends told me of some (they read a lot). Unfortunately, I cannot read fast and I don't read much so I have not read all these books.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog,

      Paige
